Got my first "Corvette Wave" today
Decided to take the (new to me) C3 to the office for an emergency call this morning. It's a nice scenic drive north on US17 about 12 miles. Passed a nice C5 coming south, recognized it in time for a casual wave off the steering wheel. The driver returned the salute. Nice to know there are still other Corvette drivers who keep an eye out for another on the road.

Nice... I wave to all oncoming Corvettes- and a lot of other nice cars. Typically, a lot of late model Corvette drivers do not wave back. My first wave was 30 years ago by a blue '75 coupe, while I was driving a red '74. Save the Wave!

Congrats! I seldom get a wave returned from a C6 or C7. I sometimes wonder if these "newbies" even recognize that I'm driving a Corvette, too!
