Default header nose bar adhesive.

does anyone know the type of adhesive used to bond the reinforcement metal to the inside of the nose? i removed the old rotten one and need to place the new one in.

The header wasn't glued in place it was riveted to the front surround panel. You could use SEM 39747 but you'll need a special gun to use it... I'd just rivet the new header in place.

I removed the rivets but had to use a heat gun and putty knife to separate it from the fiberglass. that is the only reason i assumed it was glued in some type of way from the factory. thank you for your response.
