Melting Slicks
Greg,
It is looking Great! Indeed, keep the pictures coming.
Question: Was there a reason to remove the T-Tops? I'm getting ready to paint mine and need all the tips I can get.

Thanks for all the positive input guys!
I "rescued" this one from a former owner who dismantled the car and ran out of steam, interest and/or cash (you know, the same old story). So it was sitting abandoned in pieces at a shop for years. Under all the dust was a pretty straight and complete car. I liked the color combination, Silver on Dark Red, couldn't bare to see it just wasting away so we made a deal and I brought it home.
I'll post more pics and keep you all updated as the car progresses.

Hi Greg,
".... ran out of steam"
They come apart so easily and so quickly that just about anyone can turn a running car into a pile of parts in a weekend.
But then reality sets in, and those parts just lay there staring at you.....
Regards,
Alan

I have bought more cars like this than I can remember. It never ceases to amaze me how many can take them apart but how few put them back together.
We should start a reality show called Vette-Rescue (which has absolutely nothing to do with pets!)
