The gas tank itself was largly the same for an LT-! equipped car as the rest of the cars.
A slight difference was that the tank for LT-! cars DIDN'T have the additional nipple on it's right side for a fuel return line from the engine's fuel pump.
It was the same physical size, shape, and capacity, as the tank for the other engines.

This a 71 tank.The upper line is the RETURN line and the line coming from the bottom of the tank is the SUPPLY line.
