Reproduction Chrome Bumpers....decent?
Just wanted to see if anyone on here have seen these in person or not? I have noticed on ebay that there are reproduction rear chrome bumpers for $379 a pair. Just wanted to know if they are halfway decent or not? I have my originals and the cost to get them rechromed would be over 1K and i thought this might be another option for a nice driver quality bumper.
Please let me know your feedback good or bad.
Thanks Everyone in advance!

Rookie reply: Every now and then you can find a Company that is just getting started and offering great deals.....OR not. $379 for ONE NOS rear bumper would be a deal now-a-days.
I don't know of anyone in my area who has purchased repro. bumpers. I think re-chroming down South runs a bout $300 per bumper

I usually get the originals rechromed but the prices keep going up. There are two different vendors on ebay offer a pair for $379...crazy low price and thats why I brought up the question. Thanks !

Can you check them on the internet to see if they are legitimate.....or OOTC Out Of The Country?

I purchased a pair. You can tell the steel is thinner than the oe, the chrome is plating looks real good though. I keep mine cleaned and waxed all the time, still look like new after nearly a year. For the average passer-by, you can't tell the difference. But I'm sure an expert could point it out. And I paid less than $300 for mine, definitely worth the money compared to my old ones and the price I would have had to pay to have them rechromed.

I've had a few sets of those repro rear bumpers, and they are hit or miss, quality wise. Some look good, but I've also gotten a couple that were pretty wavy, or had grinding marks. The fit of them is usually pretty good though.
If your looking for a front bumper too, I'd suggest you either buy the $500 US made Paragon one, or have your original rechromed. The right side of the $375 foreign repro just doesn't fit right, and no amount of adjustment will fix it. The pictures below are of the foreign repro.

When I was doing my ‘69 I went to a friend to order a set of reproduction numbers. He wouldn’t even sell them to me, said I would be unhappy. I have not spoken to a person who has liked them.
Rechroming is always the best option as long as they are not damaged and they fit properly. They go back on much better.
