Nitwits in the snow

Not surprising, if the snow had any depth. Wide, smooth tires with low force tire loading makes them easy to slip. Maybe the driver didn't know how to turn ON the traction control system!
Anyway, must be a 'bonehead' if he wanted to go to Florida but waited till it snowed.
A C3 (new at the time) with F70 tires was a bit difficult to manage in snowy/icy conditions for the same reason. But we didn't have ABS and traction control systems, back then. Did it the "old fashioned" way...easy on the gas and easy on the brakes.

My '75 was my only car for almost 10 years. Rain, snow, whatever. Used to drive it up to Mt. Baker to go skiing. Two lane snow packed road. No problem.
