I wonder if that LT1 with just over 2000 miles will bring over 100,000.....?

Hey glinares,

Thank you for the pictures..Couple questions. On your first pic with the 53, top left corner there is what looks like a custom 67. Is that what it is? Any restomod C3's there?

I'd love top get a bunch of detailed photos of that 2200 mile LT-1 as a frame of reference! Anyone going there that can get close and personal with it?

Hi C2,
There are a 'group' of mainly engine compartment and chassis photos of the 300 mile ZR-1 car floating around.
Have you seen those?
Regards,
Alan

That car is a 63 split window, known as "The Outer Limits". It was built in 63, from a brand new 63 coupe, and was a regular on the ISCA and other show car circuits for many years. Surprisingly, unlike most of the custom split windows built in the 60's, The Outer Limits never had it's rear window split removed.

I remember The Outer Limits was run through Barrett-Jackson, a few years ago, but I don't know if it sold.

A friend here had the identical twin to my '72, color/interior everything.
He sent it down to Kissimmee and it sold yesterday.

There was another 72, almost identical, at the sale Wednesday that brought about the same money. That’s encouraging.
