1968 rotor/hub problems
I ordered new rotors for my 68BB and had my original calipers restored by Precision Engineering in Wellington Florida. All four rotors rubs against the new pads when the wheel lug nuts are tightened. Making the car very hard to roll.
I took the new rotors to a local machine shop to be checked and found out all four rotors were perfect.
Could it be all four hubs are bad? I’m stumped.
Any ideas or comments would be appreciated.

your aware front and rear rotors are slightly different right?

C3 brake pads are in contact with the rotors at all times. They do not retract.

The rotor runout needs to be checked with the rotors attached to the vehicle hubs.
The rotors may be perfect but the spindle/hub area may be out of spec. causing the rotors to bind. This is corrected with shims that you can purchase. The spec. should be .000 to .002.
I just went through this. I had a spindle hub out .005 on my right front. I had the same issue of the rotor being hard to turn.

Check wheel bearings. Had the wrong front bearings on the spindle listed in the catalog wrong. Caused a major headache!
