Assuming the lottery winning were big enough...

I would charter a private jet, fly to Maitland, FL, and then start throwing money at Roger Judski until he agreed to sell me the yellow ZL-1.

Right now I would guess that somewhere around the $2 million mark he would start to get interested.

jv04, Been to Rogers many times as I grew up in Maitland. Sold him my first 74 in 80. I wired his house 25 years ago. I don't believe he will ever sell his ZL-1 or his 67 or 68 L-88s. They are his kids. I have been told he has/had cars stored all over central Florida. He leases the property to McDonalds in Maitland where his first lot was. A very smart and wealthy man. This is just my lowly opinion. Mark

I agree, but Roger is a smart man. Enough money would buy that car; it just may be way to much.

$10 million and it would be history, but I would not pay that even if I had it.

I grew up in Orlando, and visited Roger's place many times. The first time I met Roger, he was working out of a garage at his father's hotel on OBT. That was about 1972 or so. He had a 63 coupe for sale, and I wish I could have afforded it.

I would build my Vette like AllVettes4Me! Plus pick up a rompin stompin 427 C2. Invest the rest and live normal.
Maybe buy a young wife too... Kidding! Got my keeper wife now.

I'd pay someone to finish my 79 project, by a nice house about 2000 sq feet, and a garage big enough to hold:"

69 Charger
69,71, 75 Mustangs
59 Impala 2 door
60 Impala 2 door
63 Ford Galaxie 2 door 427 8 barrel 4 speed
custom 59 Impala 2 door with a 60 Impala front clip and power sunroof
68 Pontiac Parisienne 2 door
59 Cadillac 2 door with power sunroof
64 Buick Skylark 2 door station wagon
67 Impala 2 door
67 Ford Galaxie 2 door
70 & 72 Torino GTs
71 Cutlass 2 door
71 Detomaso Pantera
76 Oldsmobile Delta 88 2 door
76 Cougar XR7 with power sunroof
76 Cadillac El Dorado with power sunroof
77 Lincoln Mark V with power sunroof and custom trunk lid without the fake continental tire bulge
77 Thunderbird with power sunroof
77 Pontiac Lemans 2 door with power sunroof
80 280ZX t-tops five speed
85 Toyouta Celica Supra with power sunroof
86 Firebird TransAm with t-tops
88 Fiero GT 5 speed V6
91 Eagle Talon
91 Dodge Daytona
89 Thunderbird Supercoupe 5 speed with power sunroof.
70 Plymouth Superbird 449 6 pack 5 speed
79 Ferrari 308 with fiberglass body
2018 Dodge Challenger 6 speed with power sunroof
50 Ford four door because it looks so goofy
85 Ford Marquis four door

I'm sure there's a huge house out of shot somewhere, but I'd live in that!

Thanks, I'd add a 68 or 69 GTO to the list - I'm a big fan of those.

In both the C1/2 section and C3 section we have allowed the fact that some friends like to talk about some topics that might not be completely dedicated to that model car, one reason being that OT isn’t a place everyone wants to visit.

Moderators have looked at these threads on a case by case basis and considered if they have any interest. Most get moved or closed, but some, like this one that clearly has a collector car interest that includes C3 Corvettes, are left open because of their participation.

This thread is 3 pages long, quite a bit busier than many C3 threads.

So, it is unnecessary to keep complaining about a thread belonging in OT. If the thread is something you don’t want to participate in, please choose a different thread.

I think I would buy a C-2 Coupe with a 427 Big Block. A 69 427 would be fun too. I have always wanted a convertible, not sure which yet, but love the 69 black on black. Fun to Jim.

Me too,

In the Late 70s early 80s ish,

Roger had a small open air lot behind the jack in box on 17 92 and Horatio,

He had a faded blue l88 flared car i wanted so darn badly,

Thru the years he would light hearted poke at me about my customs and he sold my 81 wide body to an overseas collector....

I've been through a lot of motorcycles, and have found out that owning several at the same time is too much. So... keep the cars to a minimum.
Seeings how I am on my first Vette, and at my age (57), the 68-82 era is what I grew up seeing, they are my favorite. I'd like to spend on a full tilt C3 as the body style on a C3 is like no other car, even to this day. No denying a road race C2 either as its a killer precursor to the C3. ...I can't wait to see the outcome of my C3, as I have a fresh idea (ya right lol).
Living in excess is excessive. So... win the lottery, invest, live well and do as you please. Be normal. <<< funny icon Lol
