POR-15 and floor boards
During my restoration of the interior of my 1979 C3, I ran across riveted floor boards from a previous owner. They were not in bad shape so I am keeping them.
Applied some POR-15 to prevent any more rust.
The previous owner did not fix the passenger window which did not roll up all the way. Had a 3/4 in space where water came in and soaked the carpets.
I don't know how long it sat that way as I bought this from a dealer.
New carpets, door liners, dash pad are going in soon! Still waiting on some parts.
Before POR-15
Seeing that it is only 45 degrees it will take quite some time to dry before a second coat of POR-15.
After POR-15

Put a drop light with a 100 or 75 watt bulb under the car on the floor facing down. Non combustible floor.
The heat will cure the paint. I use a drop light with a metal case for the bulb.
It takes a while but the floor will warm to 90 degrees or so.
