I would strongly encourage you to get a second set of wheels and mount the new tires on the second set of wheel, and then set the original wheels and tires to the side for preservation purposes. That car is a time capsule and the more you preserve the better. Nice car though, and I too love the pace cars!

Well I just found the PM. Car has been in the shop all week and next. Doing all kinds of maintenance and a fixing a few leaks.

Those P255s are made by Kelsey Tire, Inc...not Good Year.

Just got it back from shop got a ton of work done. Wasn’t planning to do this much but everything was just old.
New wheels and tires too. Man this thing cost a ton to get back to perfect driving condition.

That bill seems about right. Regardless of the low miles, it is still a 40 year old car. Enjoy the ride!
