Default Ignition Shielding, It’s Official

It’s Official; I’ve made it difficult to remove the air cleaner by installing the Ignition Shielding box… well not really, kind of, but not really. I thought I would post a picture. This time of the year we all need a picture!

Enjoy
Rick

But it is very shiny and that is what matters, isn't it?

These cars are the embodiment of form over function :-p

Hi Rick,
WELL!
That certainly looks nice!!!
I think having THAT appearance is worth any additional effort it takes to get the air cleaner off or to gain access to the distributor.
Regards,
Alan

I generally drop one of the wing nuts on the floor no matter how careful I try to be. (Somehow it always lands under the center of the car so I have to use the broom to slide it out where I can reach it.)

Chrome won't get you home, but , it ain't cool if the chrome don't shine!

Nice attention to detail!

And this is quite depressing as I’ve put a lot of effort into mine over Winter but they sure don’t look like yours Rick.

Your engine compartment is totally awesome!

I have a question for you..

How did you get your finish on your valve covers?

Thx

Yea No not even close to Alan's work, pictures have a way of making things look nicer than they really are.

This forum is always motivating, I find myself going to a higher standard because of what the last guy did.

There's a large amount of members doing a great deal of really nice stuff here.

Hi Rick,
As I said in my post:

"WELL!
That certainly looks nice!!!"

I'm NOT the ONLY person who can make them look good!!!
LOTS of good looking engine compartments here!
Regards,
Alan
