Looking for Babe Headley's 69 A/P Corvette
Back in 2014 in Vette Magazine there was an article about a Tom O'Brien who was the then current owner of Babe Headley's 69 A/P Corvette. I met Tom at a Carlisle event years ago and the info he gave me for contacting him is a dead end. I was a good friend of Babe's and crewed with the car for a number of years. I have a bunch of items from those years dealing with the car I would like to give to the current owner. Anyone out there know Mr Tom O'Brien who worked in Moon Township Pa from his old business card. ----Thanks --- Ken McCorry

I think Tom is in Nokesville, VA now, southwest of DC. I don't have contact information for him though. He still owned Babe's Corvette about 2 years ago, and may still?
You could try Jan Hyde at the Registry of Corvette Race cars. Ownership of Babe's Corvette hasn't been updated since Pro-Team had it, but that doesn't mean Jan doesn't have contact info for Tom.

Lance Smith at Carlisle, might have Tom's contact info, or you could also try one of the NCRS chapters that cover Virginia (Mason-Dixon Chapter, or Mid-Atlantic Chapter). He has about a dozen Corvettes and may be active in one of the chapters, or at least be known by a chapter member.

I’m not sure if Mr. McCory will see this message as this is an old thread but thought I would try. I am Babe Headley’s daughter and would love to find out if he still has any items or who I may contact that might have items. Thank you!
