Saw this C3
Saw this C3 in my little town yesterday. Surprised I've never seen it before considering how small my town is. I wasn't able to get a pic of the hood, but it was aftermarket with the center raised much higher than stock and had the "stick on" vents on the sides of the center hump of the hood. Had the crossfire tags on the fenders, so I'm assuming it was an '82.

There is a few things on that car I am not fond of, like those wheels and that wing but it isn't the worst car I've ever seen. Also is that a light blue color or is your windshield making it look blue? Thanks for the pics!

Yeah, I agree, loose the rims and wing (personally, I would loose the hood also, or at least loose the "stick on" vents), and paint it a different color (very dark metallic red would be my choice), and it would be one sweet *** C3.
That paint color in the pic is what the color looked like in person.

it looks like it says crossfireinjection over the gills.so it might be a 1982 .but with all the other changes it could be 1978-82. not my choice on the wheels but the owner likes it and that makes it just fine.I am happy to see guys who fix up there cars to suit them selfs. The car companys will sell you any color or wheels or options because we all have different tastes.I think that's good for the car hobby.Flame on if you must.

1982 only paint color. Not sure that's the original paint, though.
An interesting mix of '80s supercars combined in one Corvette. If the owner is a Forum member, I'll say that I like the Virginia antique tags!

I hate the wing and body kit FAR LESS than every other kit I have ever seen on a C3. This setup is kinda understated, almost low-key. Not LOOK AT MY HUUUUGE BODY KIT!!!

Yeah, I agree. Personally, I could live with the body kit, minus the wing. What I really don't like is the stick-on gold stuff and those rims. And even though it's a stock color, that paint would definitely have to go. It's just as bad as pink IMHO.

I generally don't care for green but I like that shade a lot.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that car before. When I saw the Rt 10 road signs, I knew you had to be from somewhere in the region. I'm thinking I've seen that car up here in the Richmond area, possibly at Zip Corvette's open house one year.

There's a lot of polarizing modifications on this one. The wheels jump out 1st (even for those that are OK with large diameter wheels). Then the side spears. After that the rest of the order is a toss up.
