Default Can I find r12 for my ac?

Wanting to charge my ac. Just bought a 68 and it takes r12. And advice?

Take it to a AC shop or buy it off eBay. OR pay $20 take a online EPA test and buy it online.

its still for sale no mater what any one tells you. a good ac shop should have some or know where to buy it.

Welcome to the forum Walt, and congrats on the new 68!

I recommend taking it to a shop too, so they can check the system for leaks. Chances are high that the system will have a leak, and with R12 prices, you don't want to dump it in and find that it all leaked out within a day or two.
