Default How do you repair small tear in 69 dash?

I am cleaning the dash on my 69 and there is a tiny place on the edge that this torn or cracked. Is there something I can use to coat this with before I dye/paint the whole thing?

Thanks

SEM texturized coating after filling and smoothing out the torn area. You have to do test spraying with it to get right texture and then light sanding before spraying interior dye.

Yes, this isn't a very visible place.

Since this is going to be a hot rod, my main goal is to keep it from cracking more. A dab of glue or something like that. Any suggestions on that?

I used 8115 panel bond. Or maybe it was marine tech. Both similar - both black. Then pressed a piece of leather on top to give it a grain appearance. Worked great!

Vinyl repair kit and a clothes iron. Smear on the goop, cover with textured cloth, cook harden it with the hot steel disk (heated from the iron) and done.

Look for a product called Shoe goo to fill the holes and tears. Smooth out with a wooden tongue depressor or something similar. Once fully dry touch up with paint or get a patch kit with the grain pattern patches and heating irons. Worked great for me
