Now fellas, don’t fight over this one!
Went to a local car show a couple weekends ago, and I ran across this “Jewel”! Would it be fair to call it a diamond in the rough?

I can think of one forum member who would LOVE to have this car.
With it having an emblem on the hood with 'HEMI'..and FORD hubcaps and it being a Corvette. It covers just about all the bases so no one can hate it.

Nothing that couldn't be undone. Looks like he was having some fun while creating it. Pineapple velocity stacks?

Not my cup of tea and pretty darn tacky but i also see it as something the owner is having light hearted fun with, having a good time, not caring who likes it or not,
So my hats off to the builder....its nice to see someone without a stick in their butt or knot in their panties...

I agree, that the builder was just having fun, poking fun at just about everything, and I love it. Who knows, they might also have a legit NCRS Top Flight car too. Is it tacky, well yeah, that's the point, I'd say!

He got one thing correct for judging. Back window trim is all semi-gloss black. (1979)

I wanna see the interior ,
I recall a rusty bagged sitting on the ground rat rod i saw once, ( back before rat rod mean any flat black pos )
It had lawn chair seats and a really tall cool shifter with a tiki and girl,
The hood ornament was an angry duck about 8 inches tall,
I did some google hunting, the duck was from the same molds as the one on the truck in convoy, about 200.00
The tiki shifter **** was a rare piece by some artist about 500 to 800,
So you never know about some of these artistic builds

Team Owner
I'm sure the owner is quite proud of his/her creation. But, alas, despair abounds that the owner just can't get the car's surface to RUST!!!!

There isn't a single thing I like about it but who knows what condition it was in before the transformation.
Regardless someone is out there having fun driving and showing off their I'll call it creation.

Burning Brakes
I think that there is a subtle genius to it. Layer upon layer of absurdity.
