Alan where are you??? Everything OK?
I have not seen Alan (Alan71) post for a while. He usually is here helping out all the time. Just wondering if everything was OK?
Hopefully he is vacationing somewhere!! Does anyone know him well enough to check up on him???? Not being nosy but concerned.

I believe Alan enjoys helping others any way he can.
During his time on the forum he has helped literally thousands of people by answering questions and posting photographs.
I'm sure he enjoyed every moment he did so.
If there were more people like Alan, the world would be a better place.

I also noticed he's been quiet for a bit but I'm also thinking that I remember (hallucinate) that doesn't he usually go for a vacation around this time each year and come back with some stories / information about one of the larger shows or auctions?

(then again I also had this theory that Alan has a time machine and frequently goes back to 1971 and gets pictures of brand new red SB vettes on the assembly line in various states of build so maybe he's on one of those trips...)
Either way, hoping he's OK

I am not sure he responds to emails or PMS plus I didn't want to bother him. But good idea none the less.
I like the time machine theory, perhaps that's were he gets his brand new looking components.
Hopefully simply enjoying life somewhere, but he really should have OKed it with us!!!!

Hey does anyone have a picture of the wiper arm linkage for a 71 Vette?
There, that should get Alan going.

Maybe Alan needed a break from the CF.
Happened to me, could have happened to him too.
May just need some space.

Of course there is. But despite my short time here, I consider you all part of my quasi family so I think we should look out for each other.
Growing up my family owned a small restaurant catering to mostly a older clientele (I am not saying Alan is old. I have no idea). But when a regular stopped coming in we knew something might be wrong and would go to there residence and check up on them. No different then this. I assume many of us don’t know each other besides what is posted. What family situation Is etc.
Jr 73 I have made a note not to worry about you for a week. Happy fishing. Ike

CF can sometimes be more like a social media site than a car enthusiast forum
