Ugh. So sorry about your loss. I like animals better than most people and my own dog 'Khan' is what is helping me to get through my own rough times. I am not sure I would know what to do without him. As others have said, life goes on and in time the pain will give way to happy memories.

In the meanwhile, we throw ourselves back into our projects until that happens.

Yesterday while waiting for some VPA to set, I took a look at a few interior things coming up. I noticed that the ignition key will not come out. Any thoughts or things to try to see why this is happening............................... ....................................

Saw this car on Ebay and liked the shade of WBY. Contacted the seller to see if I could get some info on the paint. Well the person contacted me back and said Christen was located in Fla. only 30 min.from me, So I took a ride over to meet him. Christen who has been painting for over 30 years was very helpful in answering all of my questions and showing me the products he used on that car. Pretty cool! Gave me some step by step directives to hopefully achieve similiar results. His booth is awesome and I know that plays a major part. Showed me a lot of products that work well in the hot humid weather of Florida;
We will see!

Continued the body work on the 71 today. The hood fit was terrible . Driver side low the passenger side high. Know without knowing the history of the car it was important to do some investigating. What I cam up with was the inner fender on the drivers side sat off the fender where the top rubber seal is. Ah! took the heat gun and released the fender and applied some downward force and it moved. Took SEM adhesive and applied it to the inner fender and now I have a much better fit. A little VPA and it should be done. The other photo is the primer that will be used. I talking with some local shops this product works relly well in the hot humid Florida weather. Just sayin................................... ........................................

So here are the areas Jason that you can look at or heat and release the adhesive to adjust the fender heights up or down. Once you get them close you can use VPA to dial them in. Hope this helps.

Well found out today that upon close inspection the lower front crossmember needed to be replaced. Ran down to Ecklers and picked one up. Raised the front just enough to take the weigh of the member and switched them out. Not to bad of a job since the one I did on the 69 had no body in the way.
Also got the call that my exhaust fan was in for the paint booth. Things starting to pop around here.

Better watch out Roger or you are gonna have a line of cars in front of your house waiting for paint.

Fit and finish is one thing these cars are all about, Time consuming but hey when your retired time is one thing you have. I think!
Glad I could help Tony.
