Default Stereo prayers Have been answered!

i don’t post often, but I have to share this. The ion road warrior bluetooth speaker, fits like a glove with a couple inches all around to spare this thing will shake parts loose if you’re looking for loud plus pull it out and take it anywhere

I’d swear this unit was custom made for our c3’s My factory stereo is left untouched and original. it’s loud enough for ten cars!

Depends on what country you’re from and whatnot. I’m in Canada so I think was like 400 beaver skins. The factory radio sounds hideous, this thing literally can shake the car and sound great doing it. I can’t believe I can still put the roof down without any obstructions. You would think it was custom made for these cars.

I had a night club and was in the music, band biz so while i believe i get your point, a speaker box under the folded rag behind seat backs can only do so much,
Those cars that rattle their trim dont sound "good" to me just loud,
Someone long swapped out the stock radio in my 69 but sure stock 69 radios vs todays car audio, pretty much apples to oranges

Okay, guess I was wrong. Now I know why I don’t post, someone who hasn’t heard the sound yet knows it doesn’t sound good. Oh well, I tried

No, i havent heard that box but have heard a lot of stereos in c3 convertibles over the last 4 decades,

I never said that box doesnt sound "good" and "good" can mean different things to different folks,

I did point out to me cars that rattle dont sound good, just loud and ill add annoying,
And no matter how great a box it can only do so much under the deck, under a rag, pointing at the seat backs,

I by no means was trying to upset you about it, and im sure it sounds better that stock, if you like it that is all that matters...

My audio prayers involve, besides sounding good, being able to fit something bigger than a ball cap behind the seats and also being able to park the car with the tops off without worrying about my radio growing legs.

This box has pretty good reviews for what it is,
I dont like the idea of blocking my rear storage not like much fits back there anyway, and a box like this would be something hoodlums would gravitate to and walk away with,

My 66 dd convertible had 2 6x9s in the rear with a small sub it wasnt great but okay,

Long time ago I put two 6x9 speakers in the top section of my '72 vert hatch, that flat vertical panel, up high, next to the hinges they have a foam cap mounted behind them for weatherproofing, years later I filled in and removed the silly ASStro vent grills from the back deck, so I lost no space, but these daze I don't even have any audio electronics in the car....

I have been looking for something like this. Got mine from Walmart 2day free shipping to my door! This thing is the deal. Will fit in a coupe. You can position it so if you want access to your storage you can. Finally a rig you can hear w/tops off blazing down the HWY!! The only thing is, I'm going to relocate the power switch to the front of the unit. THIS THING ROCKS!!!

I guess you missed it in the above posts, someone who owns a nightclub and been in the music business, as well forty years of corvette experience has already deemed this as a poor sounding unit. There must be something wrong with your ears

You are taking this way too seriously and cant even get what i do say correct,
Why do you keep on? You are sounding like either a troll or someone with very thin skin who only wants opinions that agree with theirs, public forums dont work that way, ever checked out yellowbullet, or off topic here?

I never said this was a poor sounding unit, never did.
And i plan to check it out in person since reviews are mixed,

I said i havent ever really heard great sound in any c3 convertible, and i havent, im sorry that my opinion so deeply upsets you.

No, loud doesnt mean good to me, i hear cars all the time with distorted loud bass, its not good to me, those guys love it,
No, trim rattling isnt a good sound to me, sorry, if you like it so be it.

My opinions shouldnt matter an obese rodents rectum, if you like this box and how it sounds thats all that matters,
In fact if you like the sound of rattling trim thats fine too,

But you need not obsess so over my opinions on this or anything,
a bit too late to delete my posts but i do apologize for upsetting you so badly, not my intention.

Have a good one

Okay the 13bats, I’ve read through some of your other posts. I can see you are a positive person who helps others when he can. I put some effort in to try and share something I was excited about with others who may be in the same position, not modifying their car and getting some good sound. You meant well, I was being over sensitive. All is good!
