Can you recommend the best and most resonable corvette restoration shops in CA.

None of them are "reasonable" if you're going to have them restore your car.
What work does your '73 need?

"best" and "most reasonable" are almost oxymorons when talking about Corvette restorations.

This is one area where you definitely get what you pay for, or for what you don't pay for.

Check with the local Corvette club people; they can point you in the best direction.

California is a big state, where are you located? I have a 73 and live in the desert, I took mine to RACE RODS in Ocean Beach San Diego..They did not restore my car but that is what they do as well as general repair. Lance Smith and Randall Jordan are excellent to deal with, very honest, they just put a core support and radiator in my car last summer and did some extensive work on it when I bought it four years ago.
