What a Frigin turn off....A few days ago I went to the ticket master site and checked ticket prices...45 each plus fees for Saturdays show, 40 each for Friday's show...
I go check back now because I decided to go Friday instead....65 dollars each for Friday plus fees...70 for Saturday.....What a bunch of thieves.....Give me a break, why? because its getting closer to the show? Who cares?
Big turn off....I wonder if Mecum pulls the same crap....??? Fu%#ing Bu#%S%#T...

Got to box office st about 1245 pm....Tickets for seniors ( me-55) were 65 dollars and 75 for my girl.....However,the lady explained its 45 and 25 each if I go to the auction after 4:30 pm....
That's what I did considering there is a lot of stuff to see and before you know it. Its 430..
I did a hot lap in a mustang.....I do recommend this but I would have rather have gone on the Dodge hot lap...They run open pipes and the car doesn't hook up until half way down the straight so its pretty hairy....Who knew.I just happen to wait on the Ford line.....
Thing is in order to go on the hot lap you have to first drive one of there cars two laps around a small course ( gimme a break)...Trust me, your not driving a shelby mustang or a Dodge Demon..
It was a very nice show and mohegan sun is a real nice casino.....Some nice places to eat and some nice lounges...

My wife and I went to BJ in Vegas a couple of years ago. We were there for a trade show and thought what heck let's go look. We went on the Friday. I don't recall the ticket cost but they did have discounts for over 55. We weren't in the market to buy anything just wanted to look at cars. I was surprised at the different levels of cars. Some really nice and some real junk. And then some in between. All you see on TV is how bright and shiny some are. The sold cars have the as sold price written on them so you can see what they sold for. You can't touch the cars if the owner or person representing the car isn't there which means if the hood is closed you can't open it. Same with the doors and trunk. I didn't inquire if a BJ person can do it if asked so a person can do a closer inspection. As I understand the lower priced cars are no reserve. Higher priced cars like $100K can have a reserve price. If you want to bid you buy a bidder number they are color coded to what level you can afford. As a bonus the Henderson car show was the same weekend. It's held in downtown Henderson. No charge for spectators. It was good. About 250? cars?
