Default '69 427 tri power

Hi. I have a pretty good genuine 1969 427 tri power engine. Complete engine with no intake or exhaust manifolds. It has the correct heads. I want to sell it. What's something like that worth?

Welcome to the forum!
You would get better info posting your question in the C3 section of the forum at https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...s-1968-1982-5/. I'd suggest asking your question in the General area.
You may also want to check the Corvettes For Sale area there, also. There will be a variety of C3s available which might help you price yours better.
Best wishes with your sale.

Unless you find the owner of the car it came out of not much. It's a used 427 long block.

Plus, an L68 is an L36 with a 3-deuce intake on it. Hey, just did the math! Diff is 32. 3 2 barrels. The missing intake and carbs are worth more than the rest of the engine.

yup, without the intake and carbs ( check EBAY for what they are selling for ) its a used chevy big block with no warrantee. might sell for 1000 because the buyer will have to pay 500 to ship, unless you can find a local buyer or someone who specifically wants that stamped and dated engine, then the sky is the limit. but good luck finding that buyer.

Here's my advice, a long shot but who knows. Grab the numbers, then look at the c3 registry and see if you find the corresponding car listed. If it is, you might find a link to the owner (or a previous one that might have listed the car there as an owner at some point). My gut says that person may want the correct engine unless they already have a "numbers matching" engine (i.e. someone did a re-stamp).
