Those numbers seem high to me. According to that guide, my '72 air LT-1 with every option should be valued at $65K. Not happening, I'd say closer to $55k, I'd take that for mine!

HONESTLY... If you are one who drives your car at all - a 10k discount to a 100% fresh flawless restoration is about right... Think about what it would take HOURS and money wise to put even an infrequently driven show car back to fresh professional restoration level -- tires, battery, maybe front carpets and a drivers seat cover.. plus 20-30 hours min to completely clean, detail and then correct anything chassis and engine bay wise, zinc, zinc phosphates, dichromates, etc.
IF you go buy a car, build the engine, do the chassis, paint it, interior etc you are in WAY over 65k. I could have bought a nice completely there to smog wrong color 72 LT1 ac coupe for 26k. by the time you take it apart, strip it, paint it and then get back together you are in it WAY too deep.

A few CHRISTMAS DAY SHOTS of the BRANDSHATCH GREEN LT1.

I was in the Vette and had my Camera and lenses in the car... the sky was overcast and the light was nearly perfect for about 20 minutes prior to sunset - and this is only 1/4 mile from my house...
Shot at full resolution - Canon 60D 70-200 F4L @ 200mm - hand held.

Default Unearthing original inspection markings

Started the process of cleaning the unrestored chassis of my ‘70 LT-1 conv. Nice to find original inspection markings under the dirt and grime.

Treated mine to this 'mini' lift as my ceiling won't allow a full height lift and spent a couple of months doing some 'sympathetic' under-side clean up and new power steering hoses

I did put it up on stands as I have done before but I didn't feel too safe! Guess that comes with age..

It's an air over hydraulic so it needs a small compressor to raise & lower.

You have some crap to clean up on that LT-1

Nice - the original swaged head pipes are still in place. I have not seen reproductions which are correctly done.
Are the original midpipes mufflers and tips also there?
If so consider yourself very fortunate no one really makes a complete system... are you taking it to Lakeland Florida NCRS regional at the end of Feb?
I hope to see it in Greenville this July at the NCRS national meet! the car should be presented for BOWTIE judging there.

That's what young and dumb does for one... Now I don't even like crawling under when it's on a ramp made up by stacking these 2x12s atop each other...

Yes. The chassis looks to be untouched with all its grease and grime. The hidden gems appear when factory inspection markings are revealed having survived under the protective layer of dirt. Shock labels and coil spring tags have survived. Same for the body mount tape used to hold the shims in place before the body was lowered onto the chassis.

It’s keeping me busy.

SO NICE... - -my grandparents used to live in Naples FL.
I am not going to make getting my car ready for the Raleigh NCRS meet - it looks like I am going to have to come down to Lakeland for the Regional at the end of Feb.
OR I have to go to CINCI for the regional prior to the National this summer where I want to go for a DUNTOV award with my 71 LT1... nearly everything in the car operates correctly including the correct fast idle and all the CEC controls - everything except the clock and key buzzer.
