Thanks! I'm excited to finally get it back after 8 long months of it sitting in the paint shop. Gotta rebuild the brakes once I get it back....hope I remember where all the parts are! Haha.

Default 1971 LT-1 stamp pad legit??

Stunning LT-1s!!

Can anyone help me determine if either of these stamp pad looks authentic for a 1971 LT-1?

Both could conceivably be 1971 LT-1's since they both have the CGZ broadcast code (CGZ = 1971 330 HP 350CID 4Speed). The heads on both appear to be 3973487's from their casting symbols. Check the block casting number - should be 3970010 for 1971 blocks.

Default Looking for a ‘70 LT-1 Roadster

Great thread and amazing cars on this thread. I hope some day to join the ranks.
If you happen to know of someone selling a ‘70 LT-1 Roadster I would love to know about it.
Prefer to buy from someone on corvette forum or NCRS site.

Default Question to those that own an LT-1

Is it true the motor in the 1970 - 1972 LT-1s are the same despite the different HP ratings? I was told even though the 1972 is rated at 250 HP and the 1970 is rated at 370 they are the same motor. The difference being the way they are measured is different. Do all three LT-1 motors produce the same HP in reality? Thanks!!

different pistons, different combustion chamber size, ti ignition.

You would notice gearing change before any of these driving the car
