Default Retiring July 20th,2018

Hello Forum,
Since 2011, after purchasing a 68 BB, I have had nothing but a positive and educational experience between many of you.
As such, I feel lead to share a major life change.
On July 20th, I am retiring from active duty as a police officer after 26 years of service.
My wife and I will be relocating from Phila., PA area to the Gulf coast in Fla.
Missy, my 68 BB will be relocating as well.
I will continue to contribute to this great forum.
I felt lead to share with you all.
28-35.........10/7 Out of Service.

Congrats!!! 37-56 (AKA: ID# 13611 on my page here) went 10-10 3 years ago from the California Highway Patrol. You're gonna love it! Somehow, I'm busier now than I was when I worked full time

Ha Ha, I've been told that might happen.
CHIPS loved that show in high school.
Thank you for the warm response brother.

Both of you have been on my threads. Jason has helped me with many painting type question. I know I have seen Marshal as well. Your move Marshal will put you on the opposite coast of me. Maybe we will meet at the Lakeland show . Have to check out the Nov. Turkey run in Daytona. Time to enjoy life.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement. I've been retired for 10 years now. One of the most challenging aspects of retirement is remembering what day of the week it is. As another retiree once commented, "Just remember the biggest newspaper delivered on your driveway arrives on a Sunday."

Regards,
Tom69

Congratulations! I retired at the end of December 2012 from nearly 36 years of local and federal law enforcement. I don’t miss the work, but I miss many of the good people that I worked with. Thank you for your service. Enjoy your retirement. You’ve earned it.

Enjoy your retirement, and welcome to Florida, I use to bicycle ride in your area, beautiful Country, just remember we are flat, no beautiful scenery of the change of season, but the plus, we drive all year round.

I lived on the beach for a while when I was younger. I had a spitfire and could watch the chrome bumpers rust. The salt is in the air. Keep the '68 garaged, covered and washed often.

Enjoy your retirement.
