That's a good start on a nice car, frame and undercarriage being complete. I'm liking the Big fenders on a C3. The choice of a Motion paint scheme is my favorite, especially black with the dark gray stripe.

I see you have a few Harleys Too, been riding them for years.

Congrats, looks good! But why Miata seats? The OEM seats are very good....

I was looking for a more support than the stock 69 Corvette seats . I looked at several seats and got a great deal on the Miata seats. They fit in the car very well and are very comfortable. I was able to recover the Miata seats for far less than it would have cost to rebuild my tired old 69 seats.

The Harleys are a friends. I keep my Vette at his place since my shop at the house is full right now.

So it is a Motion L88 tribute with a small block in it. Mebbe do a 427 small block? Open the hood at a cruise night. "Ain't no 427!". " Is too!". I remember your previous thread. My vote was this car too...

Yeah, its the sharkbar. Cool as hell but very pricey. Here are a couple pics of the interior. Notice the shark gills on the door panels to play off the gills on the fenders

Here is a side by side comparison of the stock seats and the Miata seats mounted on the 69 rails.

Make sure you can close your top over those taller seats before you fully install them!

Beautiful car, even in primer! I love the factory flares, I already have a set for my 76. What size tires/wheels are on the car?

Got a little more done on the 69. Got the seats mounted and the tilt steering column. I went with a 14" wheel and a tilt column that is 2" shorter than stock. It sure gives me a lot more room in the vette.
