Default Drain hole in L88 hood

I have an aftermarket L88 style hood that collects
water in the recess at the front of the hood. I drilled a 1/8 inch hole carefully at the lowest point in the recess so I did not have to soak out the water with a towel every time I wash the car. Did the factory hood have any drain hole there?

When I added an aftermarket L-88 hood to my wife's Camaro years ago, I drilled a small whole in the same area. Love those L-88 hoods!

terry82 said "the guy said it let out a lot of under hood heat. " My hood has chrome trim pieces in the depression at the front of the hood that are supposed to be vents, but they are solid. If I get creative some day, I may see if I can make the vent pieces functional with my Dremel and actually let out the heat from the engine like they were supposed to do.

Yeah, I will grab my calipers and measure it tonight when I am home from work.

Edit: I measured around .205-.215in. That would make it around a 13/64 drill bit.
