Pre purchase inspection needed!!
Hey all,
Looking for help.
I am looking for someone who can do a pre-purchase inspection of a 1968 C3 Corvette.
The car is located near Stony Point NY.
I would need someone in the area who could go to the car to inspect it.
I will pay for the service!
Thanks
Tom

Thanks for the help guys. I am new to corvettes and this forum is outstanding!
Has me excited about getting into the brand. (Been and Ford and Porsche guy for too long)
I will try to find someone closer if possible....
The car appears to be solid and well cared for.
The owner wants it to go to a good home.
As far as I know...
The car is parked in a civilian garage
there is no lift. Lighting is most likely "basic garage lighting"
Time frame for me - inspection late next week
I will try to get more info

Just an FYI, Corvettes at Carlisle is August 23-26 in Carlisle, PA and many, many Corvettes owners will be there again this year. About 5,500 cars show up every year. My only point being that is the end of next week.
Good luck with your purchase and best regards,
David

I'm about an hour away and would be happy to help. I am no expert but I managed to snag a nice '69 for myself and do have some idea about what to look for.
PM me if interested.
