I don't know who verifies the information on that site but it list my car as a blue coupe owned by some dealer. I can tell you my VIN is not a blue coupe it's a War Bonnet yellow convertible.
I've never trusted sites like that when I know there is false information on them.

I tried updating my 69 vert after I bought it last year - and it still hasn't been updated (and I saw someone else mention the same issue). I'd consider the c3registry site 'no longer maintained'...

It's a shame because I have the dealer invoice for the car

No one. Anyone can enter any thing about any C3. Nothing is verified.

If you're just trying to reunite the paperwork with the current owner of the car, contacting Christian might not help? Unless you've already tried contacting the owner that is listed in the C3 registry (Oliver Still)? If no luck there, the forum does have an 'orphan document' thread (it's a 'sticky' at the top of the 'C3 General' section). Hope you're successful!

OK, it just dawned on me - that's not a valid vette vin number, unless it is a state assigned vin? When I put it in google, it DOES come up with a vette in the registry, but with another (invalid) vin number. Is that really the vin that's listed on the dealer invoice from 1972? (BTW, the 'other' vette still comes up for me in the registry).
