That reminds me, David my rear end was a 4:11 when you had it rebuilt correct?
I don't remember Chuck, sorry. My rear end is the 3.73 with the Tremec TKO 600 Five Speed.
I'll have to go back to Bair's and check it. Been a while since we did that. Let me see what I can find. David

My 69 427 L71 came from the factory with 4:11's and in the 20 years I owned it I bet I didn't put 700 miles on it because of the gearing but it was fun to drive

Don't know about the urban legend - I was just going by the documentation published by Chevrolet
