FIA / L88 Headlights with LEDs
Haven't posted much in a long time! Looking for opinions on the overall look of these exposed headlight kits they make. I am completely torn in half whether to keep the stock headlight doors or get this. I've already got 4 of the LED projectors shown below in place of my stock headlights so they would be visible all the time through the lexan and they light up the night really well.
Thanks in advance, I'm sure there will be some haters and that's ok! Really looking for some feedback before I pull the trigger please!

the one I thought of is low profile headlight bulbs and then you set the doors so they only open about halfway and then the headlights are fully exposed. And also, they would only show at night.

I love that car you posted with gold panels on the fairs, old school coolness at its best,
I am doing a road race look to my 69, flares, L88 hood, trying to keep old school vibe, 15" wheels a must,
While the fia headlights scream road race to me and at the time its all racers had to work with i find them buttfugly,
As a package deal they look right on the cars you posted and on some cars i like them but not for me, ive heard of and seen the idea of smaller bulbs and not open the stock doors all the way, they always look sleepy eyed to me,
so talk about flaming hate,
Im going with ecklers recessed lights, not perfect but they flow better to me, no frog eye look,
With or without covers.
As far as leds go, i love them for some things, i have two amber 4x6 bulbs for my inner lights they are led, im doing special wiring on mine,
I believe this is an area where one size doesnt fit all, even i like different treatments on different cars, you will have to decide which you like best...

What headlights are those, and do they fit the stock bucket without cutting the bracket?
I think the FIA lights look cool if you have a chrome bumper race car. Otherwise, the flip up lights are part of the charm of the C3. Even CA's C3 Vette-kart kept them. I can see that you'd want to show off the nifty halo lights as DRLs, though.

They are a little deep, so the back side of the bulb holder "buckets" did need some trimming but nothing too hard.
And you hit the nail on the head! Trying to show them off but so torn about the unfinished look of the covers. Thanks for the reply!
