Default Cost of clutch replacements

I have a '69 roadster with an EFI 502 big block. My clutch is slipping and I'm guessing this will mean replacement (not sure if clutches are adjustable). No clue what I should be looking for or what is a reasonable estimate. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!

Ps the tranny seems to knock every now and then...almost like something isn't tight.

Clutches are adjustable. How much travel do you feel in the pedal before you feel resistance? There should be a minimum of 1 inch. Very easy to adjust-
You don't say where you are- check with the local Corvette club for recommendations on where to have a clutch replaced. The clutch itself is the same on just about every rear wheel drive car- but the Corvette has some "quirks" that if the shop doesn't know about could end up costing you way more than it should. I have a Centerforce DF clutch in my 69. Clutch disc, pressure plate and release bearing was about $450. Parts only.
