C6 seats in a C3 - Airbag question
I have a set of C6 seats that I plan to install in my 1978 C3.
I have read everything I can find about this install and think I can do it without any major problems or costs.
I do have one question though....
The C6 seats have airbags built into them.
Since these will not function in a C3 would it be best to remove them from the C6 seats?
If yes, how is it done?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Removing the air bag will now cause your set cover to not have any support in that area so it will be baggy.
The air bag is a part of support structure for that portion of the seat.
You can simply NOT connect the wiring harness... and you should be fine. The odds that astatic electricity charge can be created enough and make to the wiring connector is highly unlikely. Tape it off it you have concerns about this.
OR...begin the 'fun; in trying to have a piece of foam installed to replace the air bag IF you take it out.

Thank you both for your replies and advice.
I think I will take them out and find some foam to go in their place.
Anybody want a couple of airbags in an unknown condition?
