So THAT'S where that piece of blue nose came from that Tony is gonna use to un-76-ify his 68 nose? got cut out for some custom headlight job? or is the piece being kept and put back in this one after all?

It makes me sad to see a COUPE body being cut. I know there were many produced in comparison to Convertibles, but when it comes to selling, it seems (to me) that there are so many more Convertibles for sale and so few COUPEs. I wonder if people really enjoy the Convertibles for a long time, and outside of Florida or California.....

Roger, let me know if you need any other suspension stuff, wouldn't mind a little horse trading towards those mako vents. My passenger side one was garbage from the vendor and I haven't fixed it yet.

So you hauled a clip and a nose 1000 miles home? Did you have them arrainged so people would look and think "Where is the rest of the car?"

That 69 is nice! I'm worried a bit because I need to change my body mounts on my 71 and I fear that I might crack the body but as I see on the forum the body isn't that soft after all!

I swapped out the body mounts on my wife's former '79, about 20 years ago. I loosened ALL of the bolts, then placed a long piece of 4" square wood, under the passenger compartment, and a shorter piece near the front of the car, and used 2 floor jacks to life one side of the body at a time. You don't need to lift it all that much, maybe 1.5-2 inches.

Looking forward to another awesome build Roger. Been learning alot from your trials and tribulations along the way.
That's a crazy trip for parts, I drove nonstop Tampa and back 2 years ago for a rear clip wasn't too bad surprisingly and it was just shy of 24 hrs.
Good luck with new project.

Roger,
I wish you would have told me you were going to Erie, that is only a couple of hours from me and I could have met you and given you
those suspension parts.
Darn........
