The best looking alloy wheels
Hi all! What are the best looking 15" alloy wheels for a C3?

For starters google images "C3 Corvette custom wheels" and at least get an idea of what you like.
Also a lot of the wheel companies have a visualizer where you can see what the style of wheel you might like looks like on a C3 Corvette.
Then of course there's the budget which is always the limiting factor.

I think factory YJ8 wheels look the best.

The '82 CE wheels are nice, too.

My buddy has torque thrust wheels on his '68 C3 and it looks great. I considered them for my car but since he now has them, I'm sticking with stock rally wheels on mine.
+1 google your car year and look at images to get an idea. It is not easy picking custom wheels!

I would have just moved along had you said anything but 15",
I am not a fan of big diameter rubber band tired pos offset status wheels on classics,
Im also not really too jazzed with the various centerline drag wheels on c3s something a bit too 75 camaro about them for me, and at the moment my 69 has them.
You didnt say stock or aftermarket only "alloy" so i will leave the rallys out since i find they look like a truck wheel anyway.
the finned type really seem to look great on the c3s like 82 ce wheels and finned turbine style crossover into aftermarket if a different look fin count or size is desired,
Then 5 spokes be them the racy look of the T thrusts or old school day two pop of the cragar SS are also very good looking on a c3, the ss are steel but chromed so i included them,
Also in 5 spoke are the daisy or coke bottles not seen too much on c3s but great looking.
Yj8 are okay but to me look best on 80 to 82, i always thought they were gms answer to the insanely popular ansen slots , but to me gm refined them too much they lost some heart,
While i find the ansen slots also a bit more at home looking on camaros i do plan to run them on my 69 because everyone and their brother runs t thrusts and i cant afford mini lites....
Oops,
I forgot this is just a take from my personal tastes likely most will vary

American Racing AR-136 Ventura. Bit of a twist on the classic 5 spoke.

The YJ8s are great on my black 79, but the N90s (80-82, without the blacked-out centers) are even better on my white 80.
If you decide that a set of (period appropriate aftermarket) Enkei phone dials are the hot ticket, I have a set of them for sale.

If you can find a set, the 8" Knock-Off's can look pretty nice on a C3.
I do think the YJ8 wheels tend to give them a more formal look.
