C3s at the Raleigh Classic Car Auction Dec 2018
I was at the Raleigh Classic Car Auction on Friday. Three C3s rolled through the auction block. I only have pics for two. A burgundy 74, vert, 4 speed, L82, 2-top sold for $24K, I don't have the mileage but I saw it and it is a really clean car, looked to be all there. A silver 79 rolled through, it's a coupe, L-82 automatic,52K on the clock, reached $10,500 and did not sell.
I don't have pics (camera fail) but there was a really nice, clean verified 72 LT-1 vert, red, with black interior, 2 tops. It sold for $30K. Yes, that's right, only $30K. Somebody got an exceptional deal. I'm presenting this for information.

Yup, I saw a 70 LT-1 roll off at Mecum last night, almost identical car. It reached $42K and did not sell. I know the 70 is more desirable, but $12K more and it didn't sell. Yeah, that 72 was a screaming bargain. Turns out it was purchased by a friend of one of my club members so I'll find out if there are any issues with it. I forgot to mention, the 72 only had 27K on the clock.

That burgundy 74 is a sweet car, they got good money for that car
