Original bumper covers were made of urethane.

You can use 10w 40 synthetic oil for most uses. Unless you intend to drive it in the extreme cold. The Tranny fluid is DEXRON and Amsoil makes a good syhtetic universal automatic tranny fluid. You MUST USE the GM type fluid in the rear differential and add the GM positraction lube as specified...other wise the clutches will stick and you'll get weird noises coming from the rear end, pops and graunches.powodzenia UnckaHal

For vacuum hose stuff, I'd look @ Dr. Rebuild. He also sells a detailed vacuum diagram for your year car.

The Dr. Rebuild vacuum hose sets are the premium offering; there's a good number of complaints about the ZIP offerings out there on the interwebs.
Willcox Corvette is another great supplier, especially for interior parts.

Sweet looking ride Mapet, Welcome to the forum .You have come to the right place . Shipping will be one of the disadvantages of living so far away ,so try to do a list and get a decent order to bring your shipping costs down . I have paid $25 dollars for a decal to get shipped to Australia

Several suggestions:
1) Buy an Assembly Instruction Manual (A.I.M.) These are copies of GM production line information. They are year specific and contain several hundred pages of drawings , instructions and technical data used to assemble your car. They are available in either printed form or on CD ( the CD usually has a search function to help you locate what you're looking for)

2) Willcox Corvette is a great resource for technical help as well as competitively priced corvette specific parts. His headlight vacuum page is http://repairs.willcoxcorvette.com/c...uum-schematic/

Mapet - very cool and welcome. Now there's a C3 with a story behind it.

"website stores where i can find parts in good prices"
I recently did quite a bit of comparison shopping for a front suspension rebuild. I am already an Amazon Prime customer so for me Amazon and Rockauto worked out very well. No idea about international shipping - but mostly it's the shipping and handling that eats me alive when parts shopping.

As for the vacuum hoses - I never did get a diagram but did get a MityVac and went through the car one piece at a time and just bought the hoses I needed by the foot at the local auto parts store. I little silicone wipe down and trimming of cracked and dried ends did a lot more than I expected.

Good luck

I'm going to expound on Rotundas advice;
You are doing the right thing, get info!...get the max info as soon as possible: INFORMATION IS POWER! {It also save you a ton of money and time and frustration.}

1. Get the Assembly manual for your year...$25.00 , invaluable...which has sections of all the vacuum hoses....meaning not one unified diagram, but EVERY vacuum hose and where they go...the illustrations are precious to behold, and comforting. They were invaluable when I rebuilt my cruise control.
2.Get the GM service manual, this tell you how to fix things, the GM way....super useful, about $50
3. Get from Wilcox one of their colored large wiring diagrams.
4. Subscribe if possible to EVERY Large American vendor and get on their catalog list at least get on-line. I prefer the catalogs on paper, but that's me. In no favoritism order; Corvette Central, Corvette America, Ecklers, Mid-America Corvette, Paragon, Zip, WILCOX and VBP. {even Dr Rebuild if you have a sense of humor!) (there are a dozen more, sorry, if I missed someone!). MANY of them have research functions on line including vacuum diagrams and assembly details.
5. Buy some books like the Vette Vues fact book and etc.
Now you have to make some decisions; STOCK/NCRS or 'who cares as long as it works fine'?

very best of luck. UnkaHal

Mapet....It's good you bought 'A book'.
Haynes is better than Chiltons....so at least it's slightly useful. In future save your money by spending some more money (sorry).
Haynes, Chiltons etc are kind of 'kids coloring books'.

The advice given is to buy THE FACTORY MANUALS....see the links above.

Holley 300-36 intake which is excellent, and out of production. Keep it.
At the top left of your pic there are some numbers next to where it says List. Type them out here.
