So continuing with the front end mock up I could not get the head lights to line up properly. Luckily when I picked up the hood surround I also bought the head light assemblies that were on that surround hence the orange color. They dropped in perfect. With a little adjusting and rebuilding they will fit fine. On to the front bumper and grill. Once that's fitting the way it should it will be time to set the surround for good. A great day!

The saga continues today with the fitting of the bumper, bumper


ettes and grills. More fine tuning tomorrow but it's starting to look a little like a 71 now.

Had just the right piece laying around to make a splash mold of the outer front corner of the grill. I wanted to capture the correct profile of the lip for the grill. Still working on it but it is starting to come to life. Before I started I had to remove all the crap shown in the first picture.
