Default Sometimes you just need to drive it

Haven’t even started the car since last fall. Charged the battery and topped off most fluids (looks like I FINALLY fixed the power steering leaks). Tires were low too. When I got it started, the fuel gauge was pegged and ithe steering had a vibration. I totally ignored these and went for a half hour drive.

By the time that I got home, the steering stabilized and the fuel gauge healed itself.

So who’s going out for a run this weekend? No telling what you might fix if you do. Oh and ignore my thread in Tech, my cracked half shaft strap didn’t heal, though I did forget about it

Maybe late March around here. By then the snows will be over and will have had enough rain to wash the salt off the roads.

I took one of mine out today. Temps in the low 60s roads were dry so why not. A little dry road salt wont hurt anything. Nice day for a topless drive. Couple of little piles of snow still around but it sure feels good to feel the power and get a little sideways.

+1

30 and part sun tomorrow--roads will be dry--gotta get out. Advantage of a having a driver quality car built onto a replacement frame--dry salt's no worry--jet spray undercarriage when it gets warm out. Woohoo...

62 degrees and mostly sunny. Rain on Wednesday washed residual salt off of road. Took out the 73 after 2 1/2 months of no driving. Stomped on it up and down SR 1, then took it on the curved back roads in Sussex County to exercise the steering.
Started and ran perfectly.
After a quick rinse, back in the garage so I can clay bar and wax it to get ready for spring, which is about month away down here.
