Default Vette owners are a breed apart! Can anyone help this guy out?

Found this ad on Craig's list. My kind of guy!

I checked the VIN against the C3 Registry and no matches there. Can anyone him help reunite the engine and car? It would make a great story!

Text of the add below:

1969 Corvette Conv. 427 435hp Monaco Orange - $1 (Boring,)

© craigslist - Map data © OpenStreetMap(google map)
1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible

VIN: 194679S712921
cylinders: 8 cylinders
drive: rwd
fuel: gas
odometer: 42000
paint color: orange
title status: parts only
transmission: manual
type: convertible

Please HELP! I am LOOKING for the CURRENT OWNER of this 69 Corvette, I have the ORIGINAL MOTOR for this Corvette. I owned this Corvette back in 1977, I removed the "original" 427 435hp engine back then and installed a small block 350 V8, I STILL have the ORIGINAL MOTOR for this car. Vehicle ID is 194679S712921 it was a Original Monaco Orange car with Black Interior and head rest seats, Factory Side Pipes and a White convertible top, Originally a 427-435hp Tri-power engine & 4 speed transmission. I sold the car back in 1977, it went to the vancouver wa. area for a few years and was then sold up to the SEATTLE Wa. area, that is ware I lost track of it. I checked with Washington State Police a few years back, they said it was NOT active in their "data base" BUT it could be in someones garage and not "currently" licensed and purged from the Washington State DMV system and or has left the state or gone up to Canada. ????? ANYWAY, I have the ORIGINAL ENGINE, If found, I want to either BUY the CAR BACK or SELL the ORIGINAL TRI-POWER 427-435hp ENGINE to the CURRENT OWNER. I do NOT wish to sell the engine to anyone else, sorry. If you own this 1969 corvette convertible or KNOW who does, please email or call show contact info
cell/Dave Thanks for reading my ad.

Best wishes,

Jack

That is pretty cool of this guy to try and find the car/current owner. AND he's willing to go either way.
He should get enough exposure with the help of the forum. I certainly hope he finds it.

Did you add the text of this to the ORPHAN VIN Stamped Parts thread we have in the Sticky section at the top of the main page?

Its what the forum has to try to get these people together.

PS, I posted this there.

I contacted the owner and recommended he join CF if he's not already a member.
With half a million members, somebody has to know where this car is.
