^^^^^ Yes, please. Your pics clearly show how the bumperette meets the lower trim, however I can't make out how the bumper meets up with the bumperette. I suspect I may have to adjust the bumperettes slightly lower and away from the bumpers in order for them to line up with the lower trim. Am I correct to assume either the bumperette/trim are lined-up OR the bumperette/bumper are, but not both? Thank you.

Sometimes in order to get the fit to an acceptable look you may have to make some of the holes a pinch larger . This will allow for a little more wiggle room.

^ ^ ^ ^ ^ ^ Thank you. This should all make sense once I start trying to properly line up these points, but which are the holes that need "tweaking"?

Looks Super!!!
Thought for you, I looked at a number of 68 Corvettes on the internet when I aligned mine, and the front hockey sticks were all over the map. I believe you have to split the difference on this, enlarge holes, etc., do the best you can. Still way better than it came out of St Louis I believe.
RVZIO's is the target to shoot for though! Great work!

Just don't forget to use the thick flat spacer washer that goes behind the bottom of the bumperette for the lower bolt. Otherwise you can crack the fiberglass chin spoiler. Don't ask me how I know this! Lou.

I think it is this type.

However I just used a large fender washer, just finger tight plus a little.

I think that the AIM means "special" washer. The washer is an extra thick flat washer that takes up the space between the recessed bumperette lower weld nut face and it sticks out past the sharp bumperette
sides. Without this washer, when you tighten the bumperette against the lower fiberglass, it cuts into it like a knife and cracks it. It is very easy to over look these thick washers. I did once, long ago.
20 Mercury, those toothed washers are used to hold the front frame horn extensions and the outer front bumper (dog leg) braces and also the long rear bumper brackets to the frame. You say that
you used large fender washers, these are the correct washer to use. Lou.

I figured I'd put closure to the thread.
I played with it a bit this week and this is what I got so far. I may try to get it better, but most likely will leave it- for now anyway.
Thank you for the input.
