I'm wondering if anyone has a method to touch up the white lettering on the vent *****. A few letters on one is missing the "paint". I know these are available aftermarket,
but I'd rather try to fix it and keep my originals.
Try using testors model paint. Try drawing in there with a toothpick. Have a paper towel ready with some paint thinner to fix it if it's not just right

Check on YouTube where gun owners have done "color fill" on the stamped lettering on their gun parts. No reason it wouldn't
work equally as well in your application.
Fastimes, unless you have steady hands filling in those letters without a mess is impossible. So be certain you have the correct solvent for your paint, fill in the letters and don't worry about the mess. Let it dry about half way through, and then take a fine cloth over a pencil's eraser.. Dip it into the solvent, and wipe away the excess solvent then start your clean up. Keep the cloth fairly dry so it doesn't start eating into your letter paint. When your happy you are done.
Most gun lettering usually use a wax pencil, nice and easy but not very durable unless you top coat it.

The instrument cluster and glove box on my eagle had a silver outline. I used Testors silver and a paint brush to try and put it back in place. Looks better than it did but its really uneven and outside the lines (like me). If I had to do it again I'd have used fine line tape to mask off the areas that shouldn't be painted on - that would work much better.
You can buy paint crayons (yes, that's what they are) for filling in the recessed letters on that ****. Clean the **** well...especially down in those recesses. Dry it completely, then rub the tip of that (white) paint crayon over the letters (multi-directions) until it is filled. Use a soft, clean piece of cotton cloth or microfiber material to lightly rub over the top to rub off the excess paint and to smooth the surface of the paint in the recessed letters. Let dry completely. Buff again. Done. This was likely how the letters were made white when the know was made. You can't 'silkscreen' recessed letters.

Thank you! I think I found it online, "Markal Lacquer-Stik". This just might be the easiest solution.
