Those head lights look similar to ones on my plow. Buy the car, take the lights off and sell them on Craig's List and you will have paid for the car.

So guys and gals . I made a deal on this . I will be getting her in about two weeks . Some like it , some don't. It is what it is . And I dig it . As a car collect not just a corvette fan I had to have it . So now I an drive a c3 all year round and even take it on the beach . Ha .
So the biggest problem with this car as you can see is the front . So I am on the market for a good used front bumper . ( any year that will fit ) and a set of rally type lights . Also if anyone wants the hood I am willing to trade for a plan hood . So this will be something fun to cruise around in while my 1980 is getting the work over .

also will be taking off the running boards and adding side pipes .

This is a good exam-le of why you should not drink alcohol while working on your car.

Did you get a periscope with it so you can see where you're going?

I like it! But I do agree with you, the lights, hood, front bumper, & running boards need to be changed. Then it will be one of the BEST looking 4 by 4 Vettes out there! As mentioned above, keep us posted on the progress.

Default So after a great trade .

So I went this past weekend and traded for this vette . Well vette body . I drove it from Bristol Tennessee to the Outer Banks NC . Through the mountains in Va. And then through the great dismal swap. There is really no better way to shak down a ride then to just get in it and go . Lol. I will start a new thread about it soon . There is a few things needed to pass inspection. And cosmetic work aswell . See front bumper . And headlights.
Thinking of a modified 75-78 FB and setting the light in that . No pop ups.
And for all the purists, don't even start . I would never do this to my 1980 . But that said she is a blast to drive . And how many of you have taken your cor ettes out on the beach ?

So today I order a fiberglass front for a 76 . Plans to add lights into bumper . Just not sure what to do . And I will start to look for a l88 type hood next . Also need a alternator bracket set to relocate the alternator as the 400 sbc has one way to high for a corvette hood .
And here are a few more pictures for now .
