Default stay at home dad looking to work on c3.

A little bit about me. I am new to this forum as well as the Corvette community. I have recently been in the process of getting my 76 stingray that I inherited into be reliable as a daily driver. I have so far replaced the radiator, water pump, thermostat, a brake caliper (The faulty one was leaking), spark plugs, distributor, and installed an electronic fan (Mainly because I killed my shroud when installing the radiator). I also just had my tachometer replaced (It actually burned up in the car)j and fixed my speedo and did some work to the valve covers. I am not a mechanical guy, or at least not at an advanced stage, but I do know how to do some stuff. What I am trying to do is connect with other corvette guys in my local area that like to work on them. I do not mind helping out on other cars if I can learn how to fix stuff on mine. I am located near Raleigh, if you guys have any suggestions for me, please feel free to let me know. Thanks.

Obtain a year specific Service Manual and an AIM, the information will help you with almost everything about your Vette.
These books can be purchased on eBay or from other vendors. Welcome to the Forum.

Welcome aboard and here’s wishing you well with your newly inherited C3. If you haven’t already, you might try the Regional Section for your area for clubs, events, and other activities near Raleigh. If you can, please post some pictures of your Vette. I’d say we all enjoy pictures!

Welcome to the forum! Lots of knowledgable folks on here willing to help.

There is also a regional section on the forum that might be worth a look for you, especially if you are looking for local groups.

Definitely search all around on this forum for anything you need help with. Chances are, several people have done exactly whatever you might be trying to do. I've done things I never thought I could by following advice given right here.

Hey Jeremy, feel free to PM me, I am in the Raleigh area, there are also 2 shops we can recommend for stuff you might need a pro for. Not sure if you are aware of the local clubs, cars n coffee, shows etc.. but there are a bunch.
