Default installing inner and outer door seals

I will be replacing my inner and outer door seals just got them from ecklers they have holes in the ends and I believe from instructions that they may be riveted in
so ill need to grind off the old ones and get a rivet gun
the other one is stapled if im correct so I will need a high impact staple gun for that one
Am I correct ?

What year is the car? 1969-1982 felts had clips made into them that fit into oval holes, then they were screw to the door panel with a screw set. I make both kits for the different year cars but without a year I can't post you links. Your info says 1992??

It’s a 1982
actually there is only one hole on the end
I haven’t taken the door off yet so maybe it’s screwed on

Aside from the clips in the actual wipe, there were eight screws that held the wipe in place, four on each side.

The trick is getting the clips in first and also dropping the lower stops on the window so that you can lower it enough to get the screws in place. Sometimes you have to elongate the holes for the clips to. https://willcoxcorvette.com/69-82-si...ss-steel-26785

^^^^This is a great example of a vendor who always goes the extra mile to help forum members, and the vette hobby in general. Ordered lots of stuff, mainly from Willcox because of the support and help he/they willingly provide. I just picked up a '68 and am about to place the first of several orders. Thank you! Paul
