Default Sirius XM antenna mounting

Hi guys
Have mounted XM antennas several times previous in different cars, but not as yet on the 72 coupe. I know probably the best place is on the dash as that is where I have mounted all previous. However is there a recommendation on an alternative mounting such as in the interior rear window moulding that would preclude having to remove all the front panels and still could provide adequate reception?
Thanks all

I just stuck mine on top of the fuel tank. Works fine.

Thanks 502. That sounds like a winner. So trying to avoid pulling dash. If you don’t mind could you explain how you mounted it on top of the tank. Assuming it has to come up from the bottom? Any help please. Thanks again

I just reached up behind the rear end and placed the magnetic antenna on the top of the fuel tank. Ran the cable into the battery box to get it inside the cabin.
