Default Frame strangeness, this can't be factory.

My dad gave me his 79 he's had for 17 years. I'm trying to figure out what's been Bubba'd what's OK and what needs replaced.

Here's what I'm seeing...

It looks like a frame repair job.

Not only did bubba work on the assembly line, his cousins and brothers did too, and drank beer and whiskey while doing it so don't be surprised by any thing

My frame reinforcement strips look the same. Ernie Willcox even found a factory installed Bacardi bottle behind the body mount panel.
