(Maybe) Not the typical luggage rack thread
I bought a nice s/s luggage rack for my '68 convertible. I haven't put it on. Between the time I purchased the rack and now, my course has changed as far as keeping the car. I'll be putting it up for sale in a while.
Opinions, please, on whether to install it ... (and I think I can guess the answers). Being I'm not keeping the car, my thought is NOT.
Thank you

I think more people prefer no luggage rack.

I vote no rack. You can't undrill holes. (easily)
If the new owners want one they can drill the holes and install.

I agree with the consensus here.... My C3 is currently undergoing some restoration and I had them remove and fill the holes prior to re-paint figuring I can make the decision about having it back on whenever I feel the urge, in the case I ever do.

Me personally, I would not buy a car with one. But as stated, they can always be installed but not the other way around. You could offer to install the rack for whoever has bought the car if desired. GLWS. Mark
