My Grandson went for a ride in mine a couple of years ago when he was 8 or 9.
Did not ever go again.
He said it was too loud, seats were not as comfortable as Mom's car, and he wanted satelllite radio, and without WiFi he could not play games on his phone.

Our first grandson was born this April, and it'll be at least a few years before he'll be given permission to get a ride in the '79. Hopefully, I'll still have it then to do the honors.
